(6-02-04)
Just a few more days ...
Okay ... so by now, you've either decided to go or not.
Well, let me say that if you miss out on this party ...
well, it'll be your loss! With almost 120 seats filled,
we've only got a handful of seats left. Live music, great
food and good conversation ... what could be better? See
you all there! Don't be late. Us SJS alumni start on time!
(5-14-04)
Tick tock. Tick tock. June is approaching!
Some of you are wondering ... $50?! Okay what do I get with
that?! Relax. It'll be well worth it. Besides, the party
will raise money for good causes ... One, us the
ALUMNI Association! Two, the Guam Girl Scouts, and last
but not least, a portion of the money raised will go to
a special organization that I'm sure everyone in the audience
will support — that's right the Guam Memorial Hospital!
Hey, we need to help get our ONLY hospital back on its feet.
Who knows, it may be you or I that needs treatment there
soon ...
Let's continue ... Well for starters, you get a wonderfully
delicious and filling Dinner Buffet prepared by the Hilton's
master chefs.

Next you'll be entertained by several LIVE bands playing
a mix of island, jazz and good ol' alternative ROCK.
And as an added treat we have special series of funny skits,
video presentations and of course a Jay Leno-style sit down
interview & roast session with our guest of Honor 'Dr.
J' as he catches us up on what he's been up to over at Saipan
as their new headmaster. I also have several 'big' surprise
announcements to make during the program.
Finally, we'll be drawing the lucky winner for the TRIP
FOR TWO to any of these locations: Manila, Bali, Saipan
or Palau.
So don't delay, get your tickets while we still have some
room! Besides, this may be the last time that you'll be
able to see all of your friends and associates gathered
in one room. It should be a wonderful and entertaining evening
... see you all there!
The 'End of the Road'.
The end of an ERA. The last picture show.
The final curtain. Signing off. Sayonara. Hasta La Vista —
Baby.
However you wish to term it, St. John's school, the way we
KNEW it, will be gone forever. With the retirement, resignation
and/or termination of faculty and staff members, all of whom
will be going to other parts of the world unknown, the friendly
faces that I counted on to greet me with a smile and warm
hug, will slowly but surely disappear after this disastrous
school year.
W hat to do? Cry? Possibly. Laugh? Maybe. Sing? Ok. Party?
You bet your mamma!
So as the ROMANs used to say "Friends, Countrymen, ROMANS!
— Let's feast and be merry!"
Here's to the teachers, students and staff members that made
St. John's School a special place for all of us.
Here's to everyone and anyone — who mattered. Let's
party and be remembered!
"Friends, Teachers, ALUMNI — It's party time!"
I invite you all to attend. It'll be a blast!
Sincerely,
Kaz Endo
SJS Alumni President
