sincere and beautiful words were written by the graduating
class of SJS 2004. For those that are critics of Dale,
these words remind us how dear a great teacher can
be to a young child.
The
Yellow Ribbon
When someone has been taken away from their loved
ones (be it unfairly or by a dangerous necessity),
a yellow ribbon is used to show love in absentia and
hope for their return. The concept is taken from the
old wartime song “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round
the Old Oak Tree”--
